Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) has officially released the admission notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2026) for admission into Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP/MBA) and Fellowship/PhD Programmes across 21 IIMs and top B-schools in India. Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) or appearing in their final year can apply online from 03 August 2026 to 15 September 2026. Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) ne saal 2026 ke liye Common Admission Test (CAT 2026) ka official notification jari kar diya hai. IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta samet desh bhar ke 21 IIMs aur anya top management colleges (jaise FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, IITs, MDI Gurgaon) me do-varshiye Post Graduate Programme (MBA/PGP) me pravesh lene ke liye CAT score aniwarya hota hai.
CAT 2026 Exam Pattern & Structure
CAT Computer Based Test (CBT) mode me teen alag-alag slots me aayojit kiya jata hai:
Exam Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Ghante) - Har section ke liye 40 minutes ka sectional timer hota hai.
Total Sections:
1. VARC (Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension): Lagbhag 24 Questions
2. DILR (Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning):Lagbhag 20 Questions
3. QA (Quantitative Aptitude): Lagbhag 22 Questions
Marking Scheme: Har sahi uttar par +3 marks milte hain. MCQ prashnon me galat uttar par -1 mark deduct hota hai, jabki Non-MCQ (TITA - Type In The Answer) questions me koi negative marking nahi hoti.

How to Apply Online for IIM CAT 2026
1. Registration:IIM CAT ki official website (`iimcat.ac.in`) par jayein aur "New Candidate Registration" par click karein.
2.Generate User ID: Apna Naam, Date of Birth, valid Email ID aur Mobile Number enter karke OTP verify karein.
3.Fill Application Form: Login karke personal details, educational qualifications (10th, 12th, Graduation marks), aur work experience (agar ho) bharein.
4. Select Programmes & Test Cities: Apni pasand ke IIM programmes aur interview cities ke sath-sath 5 exam center cities ki preference select karein.
5. Upload Documents: Passport size photograph, signature, aur category certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD) scanned copy upload karein.
6. Payment & Confirmation:Online application fee pay karein aur complete application form ka confirmation page download karke save kar lein.
